Although we don't seem to get a chance to talk w/ you two as often as we would like, through our network of many firends and family, namely, Charles in this case, we were told of your site earlier in the week... ! How amazing!! Lately, I've been so busy that despite my anticipation to read & experience the daily musings of our dear friends making their trek back east, I am just now sitting down to soak in your travels via this great blog. (... it's Sat night, oh actually Sun morning, almost 1 AM, but really 2 AM w/ DST). Wow, the pictures are fantastic and the reflections on your day are even better... it's as if we're right there w/ you... we only wish. What wonderful memories you'll have from this trip... we wish you safe travels and will be "riding" along on your journeys. Can't wait to see you in the flesh! Keep on truckin'... Love and miss you!! Song P.s. Don't know if you've heard but Shank's mother, Anita, passed away 2/12... it was very sudden and words obviously cannot describe the emotions to say the least... Shankey and the family are doing "well" considering - it's always awful, as you can imagine! Don't worry - all part of life's way of jogging our senses and reminding us to take it all in when we can..... We'll fill you in over some (maybe many) beers - Can't wait to see you both!
