Here is a quick photo I took the other night in the suburbs of Philadelphia. It was taken off of Nancy’s parent’s back patio. I shot the 12-24mm wide lens on a tripod with remote shutter release and exposure somewhere around 20-30 seconds. You can see the moon blur from motion a bit. I’ve been wanting to do a whole series of different places at night, taken out of focus and slightly over exposed to give a glowing type of effect. I took this image to start playing around with that idea and get used to long exposures and night images again. I liked how the stars came out and how the grass lights up in the moon light.
