I don’t have much time for writing now, here’s the skinny:
We left for Korea on February 8th and arrived at night on February 9th, my birthday!
We got a quick tour of the island on Sunday.
I started work on Monday, yesterday… Overwhelming!
Today I managed to process some images from the trip and our first day here. I didn’t have time for photos yesterday at school but I’m going to take a camera along today. I’ll write more detailed notes if I have the time! Everything is going well, stay tuned for more!

Thanks for the B-day wishes!!! I can’t believe I’m working already either. The kids are great and the anxiety of the first week is over! We’re on iChat all the time so just give us a call, it works better than in the states!

I can’t believe that you guys are in Korea. I was wondering why I hadn’t seen you on-line for a while. I’ve been out the country too but that’s a different story. You have to let me know how ESL is coming and what I can expect. Sounds like you are BUSY; worse than the TEFL class – I hope not. Tell Nancy I said hello.

Hi Rhonda!!!
I can’t believe we’re here either! I want to hear about your travel experiences as well. Send me an email. The teaching is going really well. It was overwhelming at first, and I’m certainly still learning things, but it’s really not bad at all. So far it’s no where near the TEFL class in terms of demand, thank goodness! The kids are quite fun and my day is over before I know it. Please stay in touch and get over to the DR ASAP, start teaching and enjoy your new pad!
